Morrelia was probably our favourite town in Mexico. It has beautiful
Colonial architecture and, being one of Mexico's oldest University towns, a
vibrant atmosphere and cafe culture. |

| It is named after Morelos, a priest and independence
fighter for Mexico who was born here. He is usually depicted wearing a
headscarf. Some say he suffered from headaches and he wore the
headscarf in the belief that it gave him some relief from them. |

| There is a fantastic pizza restaurant overlooking the
Cathedral. This is the view from it at night. |
