| Inside the Cave |
| After the swim, we changed and explored the rest of the cave by boat. |
| The water is so clear that you can see the extension of the formations beneath the surface. It’s not a reflection you can see. |
| This is one of the more famous of the rock formations inside the abyss. He is known as the guardian of the cave and he sits on a platform with a good view as if he keeps an eye on everything which is happening inside. |
| Water drips from the stalactites forming stalagmites below. Eventually they will touch and join. |

| The ascent out of the abyss was hard work and very slow going. The thin long ropes have considerable stretch and bounce in them which, for Jeremy, was quite disconcerting. |
