Dusty Roads
Just 80 km south of the muddy section we were told it had not rained in 4 days.  That was the end of the rainy season for us, from then on we had blue skies and fluffy clouds over our heads every day.
This brought a new problem – dust.
After a few hours on the road we looked like this.
Sections of deep sand meant that our days of pushing our bikes were not over yet.
Many cars in Brazil run on a fuel made from sugar cane known as 'Alcool' which is sold at most fuel stations. Sometimes we could smell the alcohol as the cars passed us by.
